I have a super easy 5 minute recipe for you to add to your weekly eats, favorite dishes, or appetizer!
Ok before you yell at me hear me out.
Trust me you’re like totally gonna LOVE this super easy recipe.
Say hello, to this lazy faux guacamole.
I call it my avocado smash.
It’s lazy and a faux, because I left out all of the traditional ingredients out.
It’s called my avocado smash, because I’m a texture freak and I literally mash it till it’s got this super smooth consistency with maybe a tiny chunk or two.
I REALLY love avocado, just not chunky. It really all depends on my mood, but 99.9% of the time its gotta be smooth not chunky.
Don’t get me wrong.
I love the cilantro, onion, and tomato in what is known as the traditional guacamole.
However, this is the perfect kinda of guac that fits in my everyday life during the week that requires very little effort.
You can dip it, spread it, or top your favorite dishes with it.
Heck, you can make it part of your appetizer spread for a gathering too!
I love love love to use it for avocado toast, dipping my favorite chips and crackers, or on top of a massive pile of nachos or on taco stuffed peppers.
I think it is like so perf, but I could be totally biased. It’s really a fool proof recipe. Don’t sleep on this avo smash of mine.
The easiest addition to your weekly eats or gathering you’ll make.
Don’t forget this recipe can easily be doubled!
Add this to your week, y’all.
- 2 Ripe Avocados
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Cracked Pepper
- Juice of One Lemon
- Remove the peel and core of the avocado and place it in your mixing bowl.
- Add in the juice of one lemon, salt, & pepper.
- Mash it with a fork until you achieve your smooth consistency.
- Lastly, add it to all of your favorite meals or gatherings!
