Let’s start the week of with a super satisfying snack.
Let’s me make this clear folks, best balls, I mean best bites you’ll have ready for that pick me up snack when you’re salty sweet craving arises. I just can’t call these balls.
And don’t worry, if you’re not headed to the grocery store till later this week, and you don’t have the ingredients already at home, you can still make these any day of the week!
So! These oatmeal peanut butter energy bites are so PERF.
The worst is when I’m craving something sweet and salty and I don’t have it. Legit. Terrible moment.
Lets talk about whats makes these beautiful bites so PERF!
You’ve got gluten free rolled oats, peanut butter, dash of warmth from the cinnamon, some fiber sources (chia seeds & ground flaxseed) AND CHOCOLATE.
It’s a party!
They’re so great for a pre-workout snack or when you’re just casually looking for a snack in the middle of the afternoon or a late night bite!
Guys, no one likes to talk about it, but fiber is super important and I’m totes a fan of it. so if I can add it in to more of my bites then it’s a good day. I’ll save the lengthy version of how much I love fiber for another day.
No Bake Oatmeal Peanut Butter Energy Bites
- Pyrex Bowl
- Measuring Cups
- 1 3/4 Cup of Rolled Oats
- 1/4 Cup Ground Flaxseeds
- 2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
- 1 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/3 Cup Honey
- 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- Combine all of your dry ingredients together. Add in your peanut butter and honey. Stir till combined. I usually stir it all together for about 1-2 minutes to ensure everything is combined. Roll the mixture into golf ball sized bites or tad bit smaller bites.You can eat these at room temperature or store in air tight container in the refrigerator. I prefer to eat these cold!
I’ve said back like a millions times. I think y’all understand by now that I REALLY LOVE SNACKS.
Well, I guess I should stop snacking on these so I’ve got some to get me through the slumps of this week, haha!
